Rustic minimalism at Podere Tesoro, Tuscany, Italy | Real Wedding Weekend of my DREAMS

Hello, lovers. I am so ecstatic to share a glimpse of what we do around here. Paper Cliché is a full service design studio specializing in modern, romantic semi-custom wedding stationery. Think: understated elegance, organic minimalism, and high touch service.

There are weddings that feel beautiful, and then there are weddings that feel cinematic — the kind that unfold like a love letter to a place. This celebration at Podere Tesoro for Isabel and Wade was unmistakably the latter. Set against rolling Tuscan hills and the Villa Estate, the weekend was a nuanced mix of Italian elegance, layered abundance, and overflowing romance. Brought to life by Wilde and Sage Co, this was a gallery that I simply cannot stop obsessing over from La Moment Photography.

DAY ONE | The welcome party was filled to the brim with playful and colorful details, from scalloped edges and a funky, hand-lettered script, flowy linen signs and bespoke illustrations. Tables were styled with sun-ripened tomatoes, fresh basil, and organic florals - a still life reimagined.

DAY TWO | The draping over these intimate tables felt ethereal. The luxe linen welcome sign and seating chart were draped from the ceiling with hand-frayed taupe silk ribbon - suspended and catching the golden hour. The bars hosted a wine menus with a minimalist layout and gold hardware accents for a sleek styling effect. The showstopper were the layered letterpress menus showcasing their custom venue illustration and duogram, completed with the guest’s name and an accent of nude. The entire evening was a minimalist delight that felt at once layered and inviting.

DAY THREE | The ceremony and reception unfolded outdoors, framed by the rolling landscape that makes Podere Tesoro so unforgettable. A custom limewashed welcome sign showcased an illustrated rendering of the venue and their duogram made another appearance. Wooden bar menus featured elevated typography and informed guests of each ‘corner’. Personally, any event featuring a ‘Caprese corner’ is an event that I would like to be part of. Luxurious velvet duplexed menus were paired with coordinating place cards finished with silk tassels and blind embossed details. The double-sided table numbers echoed the menus directing guests to their table.

THE AFTER PARTY | Following the wedding, the couple hosted the most incredible after party with its own personality. Moody and distinct, the after party felt elevated and ready for a good time.

This velvet bar menu stole the show styled with magic from Olive and Sage Floral.

This opulent and romantic wedding balanced modern restraint with Italian warmth, layering beauty and intention throughout the weekend. Overflowing with romance and thoughtfully curated details, it was a celebration that felt immersive, elevated, and deeply personal.
