01 INQUIRE //

Get started by filling out our inquiry form and hit submit! We will be in touch shortly to schedule a complimentary phone call to hear about your overall vision, learn about your love story, and chat about our process in a nutshell.

02 SERVICE CATALOG //

After our call, we will be sending you our service catalog tailored to your quantity where you’ll be able to select the essential package that’s right for you and build your dream invitation suite with our à la carte offerings.

03 PROPOSAL //

Once you have made your selections, we will send over your official proposal and agreement where you’ll be able to sign the dotted line and submit your retainer all inside your client portal.

04 DESIGN //

Inside of your design questionnaire, you will be able to submit your exact wording and make your customization selections. Once we receive these, it’s design time! Your design week commences approximately two months prior to your desired mail by week.

05 FEEDBACK //

Nothing is sent to print until you say so! We include 3 complimentary proofs with your order. Our straight forward revision process takes place inside your proofing deck where you will be able to comment on each individual piece before signing off on your details. No changes can be made after final approval.

06 PRINT + PRODUCTION //

Please allow 4-5 weeks for printing, production, and professional assembly.

07 KINDLY DELIVER TO //

We offer flat-rate invitation shipping or local pick up from our Costa Mesa studio. You will receive your invitations ready to seal, add postage to, and take to the post office! Then it’s time to sit back and wait for the onslaught of texts from your guests gushing over your invitations.

  • Easy Peasy! Get started by filling out the inquiry form so I can better assist you. From there, you will receive a link to schedule a quick chat. You will then select desired items from your service brochure so that I can send your customized proposal and agreement.

    Once your retainer is submitted, your date will be officially reserved on our design + production calendar. I’ll break everything down for you in clear and concise personalized timelines & outlines. The process is simplified with easy to use wording uptake forms and a clear cut revision & proofing process. Check-in emails will keep you on track every step of the way and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Since every project we design is completely tailored to each couple or client, cost will vary dependent upon your unique wants and needs. Material choices, printing methods and embellishments desired will inform your specific quote but for reference, most Paper Cliché couples invest between $2,600-$5000 on their invitation packages and between $1500-$4000 on their day of paper goods. Current minimum orders in 2024 start at $1000.

  • Collections Suites

    We recommend ordering your semi-custom invitations a minimum of 3-4 months before you would like to mail them. You can expect a 6-8 week turnaround from booking dependent on embellishments and print method chosen.

    If you need your invitations on a faster timeline, we can occasionally accommodate rush orders.

    We recommend mailing your invitations 8-10 weeks from your wedding date. Add 2-4 weeks to this timeline for destination weddings.

    Save the Dates

    Save the Dates can now be purchased directly online or custom quoted and shipped to you within 3-4 weeks of approval. Add 1-2 weeks for letterpress printing.

    Bespoke Invitations

    We recommend reaching out about fully custom invitations a minimum of 6-8 months before you would like to mail them.

    Booking and production will depend on Paper Cliché’s calendar availability, as well as client responsiveness to emails and proofing. (Please inquire as soon as you think you may want to work with us as there are limited spots available in 2024 and 2025)

  • Day-of-paper can typically be booked within a shorter lead time than invitations. We recommend booking at least 3-4 months prior to your wedding date to secure your spot as we take on a limited amount of weddings per month. This is important to uphold a high standard of customer service to each client. *Minimum lead time for production of day of detail items from booking is 6 weeks from booking. The booking process typically takes about 5 days so please take this into account. We typically fill our design and production calendar about 4-5 months in advance but it never hurts to ask!

  • Please contact us as soon as possible with any rush requests and we will do our best to work some calligraphy magic if possible. Please note that a minimum 35% stress fee will be applied to all rush orders (any day of details order placed less than 6 weeks from your wedding date).

  • Make sure to order by household, not guest count as each couple or family will be mailed only one suite. We highly recommend ordering a few extra suites (5 is usually sufficient) to accommodate address changes, last minute add-ons, lost mail & family keepsakes. This will avoid reprint, set-up and rush shipping charges should you need more for any reason! Trust us on this one ;)

  • We are now offering the choice between a 2, 3 & 4 part payment plans as well as monthly installments for full package custom orders! Your retainer and your signed agreement reserve your design time and completion date on our calendar. You must request a 4 part payment plan at the time of booking and your wedding must be at least 16 weeks out.

  • Semi-Custom Collection Invitations are inclusive of 3 complimentary proofs. Additional proofs will be billed at $50 each.

    We offer unlimited edits for fully custom packages but full re-designs (edits outside the scope of minor tweaks and wording changes) will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please keep in mind that each revision round can add 5-7 days to your project timeline, so it is imperative to be responsive and efficient with any edit requests.

    If revisions are due to incorrect wording submissions/changes, they may be subject to an hourly rate of $75.

  • To ensure the integrity of each thoughtfully designed collection suite, typefaces may not be substituted. Should you choose to upgrade to custom hand written spot calligraphy, it will be personalized with your hand written names that have been digitized (not a font).

    Should you need a custom color palette outside of our Collection offerings, we can create one for you as an add-on service. Custom Color Palettes are $150.

    Our fully custom design process might be the right fit if you are looking for something especially designed for you! We take on a limited amount of fully custom suites per calendar year.

  • Day of Details package investment starts at $1050

    Our couples typically spend $1500-$4000+ on their day of paper goods.

    Semi-Custom package investment starts at $1050

    Our couples typically spend $2600-$5000on their semi-custom suites.

    Fully Custom Invitation investment starts at $3000

    Our couples typically spend $4000-$7000+ on their fully custom process.

    Pricing in your quote will be scaled accordingly so that we can accommodate communication, design and production of more intimate gatherings.

  • Invitation packages include professional assembly of your items ordered and they will arrive to you ready to seal, add postage and mail. We LOVE taking care of the details for you and it is important to us that every suite is quality checked and perfect.

    We offer complimentary postage guidance and flat-rate shipping with all invitation orders.
