Hello, lovers. I am so ecstatic to share a glimpse of what we do around here. Paper Cliché is a full service design studio specializing in modern, romantic semi-custom wedding stationery. Think: understated elegance, organic minimalism, and high touch service. Our focus on combining luxury print methods, premium materials, and a restrained approach to modern invitation design is aimed at creating keepsakes to cherish forever.

To arrive at Cielo Farms is to step directly into an Italian daydream tucked away in the Malibu hills. Framed by centuries-old olive trees, rolling vineyards, and wide-open canyon skies, this thirty-acre estate trades coastal breeze for sun-drenched European romance and was a stunning backdrop for Delaney and Tom’s gorgeous Autumn wedding.

Expertly styled by the mastermind that is Kelly Patrice and captured artfully by Sanford Creative, it was a dream team. To start, they chose to customize the Alexandra Collection with soft sand and sage tones. The invite suite featured letterpress printing, a custom venue illustration, a moody envelope liner and calligraphy addressing. I’m a sucker for layering with handmade deckle edge paper, the perfect rustic touch for this Malibu winery affair.

Their welcome sign found its place on a perfect piece of natural maple wood and featured their venue illustration from their formal invitation suite. The reserved tags echoed the typography as another touch point for their guests of honor.

Their seating chart mirrored the welcome sign with a healthy dose of negative space and a contemporary layout, adorned by dreamy greenery by Creative Light.

These deckle edged menus were personalized with each guests name - we love functional beauty when it comes to tabletop paper goods. Our signature minimalist table numbers were displayed in natural wood bases to perfectly complement the table setting. Table numbers are such an easy way to anchor the overall design.
