Tulum Cenote Elopement Goals Part II with Seascape Retreats

My boyfriend and I were loosely planning a Tulum trip and the next day there was a jet ski shooting on the beach at one of the resorts so we put it on the shelf for a minute. Plus, although very different, Baja and Puerto Vallarta are just such an easier travel from Southern California. That being said, one day we will make it to Tulum and hopefully visit a gorgeous cenote like this!

If you’re wondering, a cenote is a water-filled sinkhole that naturally occurs in limestone rock when an underground cave collapses in on itself and exposes the groundwater underneath. There are thousands of cenotes dotted around the Yucatan Peninsula and Tulum is home to some of its most popular and unique. Normally, I don’t want to be near a sinkhole (ahem, Florida) but these are the cool kind in my opinion.

Valory Evalyn hosted quite a delight with this one! Love the moody vibe she captured. Stationery wise, I used bold golden hues of handmade paper, rice paper wraps with fine twine, pointed pen calligraphy and a bold yet delicate duogram. Pretty proud of said duogram, I would love to hear your thoughts.
