These pretties from last week’s @rancholaslomas wedding. I just can’t wait for the photos!! This last Saturday, I popped a tire delivering giant signage to the @paseahotel so that was fun. Last night, I forgot to park on the street and my driveway was sealed this morning so I am without a car for two days. I am listening, Universe. I hear you. I guess I am not supposed to be driving 😭🤣 “Sometimes the lesson is not for you, it is for someone watching how you react to the circumstance.” -my Uber driver.
It’s completely unrelated caption time! Are you excited or what 💁🏻♀️ *This is a photo of calligraphy on a cool envelope. **The caption is about Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Have any other lettering peeps seen it?? It’s exploding with so much cool lettering that sometimes I couldn’t pay attention to anything else. But maybe that’s just me. There were more than a few moments that I wondered just what in the hell the movie was even about but that could be because it is a Tarantino film. Or because it had a 2 hour and 39 minute run time. But I’m pretty sure it was because I just kept staring at the letters. It’s definitely a love it or hate it type of flick, and I was on the love train despite my train being slightly confused at moments because of said letter gazing. Plus!! *spoiler* Brad Pitt takes his shirt off on a rooftop for about 90 seconds of screen time. So that was lovely.
Funny little story about the color pink. I disliked it so much for so long that I literally had my ex husband hand letter “NO Pink” on our baby shower invites about 7 years ago. People still got us a lot of pink shit. Which ended up working out because my daughter looked like a four chinned little Italian man for most of her infancy. I dressed her in pink to avoid the “he is so cute” convos in Target because it started to get tiring the same way everything is a bit tiring as a new mom. One time, she was dressed head to toe in pink sitting in a hot pink shopping cart cover and a sweet little old lady came up to talk to me about my little “boy”. At the time, I was like come the fuck on, but looking back I see that sweet little old lady was just ahead of the times and didn’t care about gender cues. Currently, my entire house is swimming in blush and most things that I buy or gravitate toward are some shade of pink (obviously excluding my clothing choices here, guys). The point is, I am just another cow in the cattle herd and I do what the Pantone prediction people tell me to do. So here is some more pink for your feed from the ever so lovey styled shoot at The Fells 💕
Each day, the United States Postal Service processes over 500 million letters. Unfortunately, most of them are credit card offers.
✨ I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes. And then I packed up the sign for this weekend’s weddings ✨ I also made an appointment to donate blood and am proud to say that it’s the only appointment that I successfully kept this week *see new hobby from last post*
It’s been on my to do list for 3 years now. Better late than never I guess. And it really wasn’t that big of a deal- I was a little nervous tbh- but the whole process was pretty easy peasy. It took about an hour from start to finish but the actual bloody part only took about 15 minutes. Andddd you can donate every 8 weeks! Each donation has the potential to save up to 3 lives and that is pretty amazing. There is currently an emergent need for blood as well so go stick a needle in your arm ASAP. You can go to redcrossblood.org to find your nearest drive. (End of PSA)
The vellum. The watercolor. The magenta ink ✨ gimme gimme ✨ “Love me ‘til my heart stops, love me ‘til I’m dead.” -Talking Heads • • •
On an unrelated side note- I’m beginning to believe that I spend the majority of my week meticulously scheduling appointments to reschedule at a later date 🤗 Just me?

Does this flower make my middle finger look pretty? •
Experiencing shut down mode on all levels today. Anyone else crumbling under their own self-imposed stress? I’m being completely and totally melodramatic (and I will also point out to my most lovely clients that I have never not made a deadline *pats self on back*) But jeez, I haven’t completed a damn thing worth a damn thing today. Is this what people describe as a case of the Mondays?? Does this count as the opposite of a #motivational post?? You’re welcome??
Baby, you’re a firework. (Or a smoke bomb, whatevs) Stunning shot captured by @shelbyrosephoto for the Fells Styled shoot all the way over in New Hampshire. Obsessed.
Vegan leather invites? 🙋🏻♀️ Holy swoonville. I’m going to throw an event purely as an excuse to send these bad boys out.
I had the initial joy of collaborating with these fabulous vendors on The Fells Styled Elopement Shoot and now I am overjoyed to share the images that were captured by the oh so talented photogs 😍 It’s summer time and the mood is romance.
More. To. Come.
Event Planning @wildandwedplanning
I know, I know, two posts in a twenty hour period. A bit excessive. But I don’t think it matters because no one can see my posts with the new algorithm anyway. When it first started happening, I thought to myself, “Wow, my content must be sucking so hard!!” but it is comforting knowing a lot of other small accounts feel the same way about visibility. Not that I wish a lack of likes on any other small accounts. But likes aren’t validating anyway, right!!? Just kidding, I know you like the likes even if you are lying to yourself about it. I was listening to @hannahbronfman on the @mindbodygreen podcast (thank you for the sweet rec @laurenronquillo) and she made a really great point about social media. Pertaining to the negative effects, she mentions there is a block button and an unfollow button and a delete button. Use them. I might be a glass half full type, but I see so much good available in social media. It is exactly like EVERYTHING else in this life. There are people that abuse it, use it negatively, have addictions, worry too much about it, etc. There are people that are afraid of it. There are people that are too cool for it. There are people that attach their self worth to their “social media image”. But that don’t gotta be you, my friend. Use social media, don’t let it use you. There is so much awareness to be spread, so much joy to be had, so much cool shit to see that you simply would not have access to without these tools. Let’s do good together! For instance, my mom added me to a Facebook group called Weird Secondhand Finds that Must be Shared. The haters might think I have wasted 30 precious minutes of my life on it but I say those minutes have been enriched 🤣 Don’t go letting the bad apples ruin it for everyone. Sure there are kinks to be worked out. And I’m sure it will be forever evolving and humanity will figure it out as we go because that’s how we do. And while I’m telling people what they “should” do, why don’t y’all start liking my posts again, k, thanks 😆
It me up there painting for Ocean Arts Newport Beach. The exhibit is still up for eleven more lovely days, my friends. Tuesday through Saturday nights from 5-10. 📸: @vectorfarmer
This photo made me think of a song that I used to love but I couldn’t remember the name of the band for the life of me (old age) and there are apparently a lot of songs and books and things titled “I’ve got your number”. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, the band is called Elbow and they are really freaking good. #tablenumbers #weddingdeets
Ocean Arts is still alive and well over @boathousecollective. Be sure to go and snag some cool ass ocean art for your humble abode. Or your office! Or keep it in your car and stare at it at red lights and make believe you are at the beach. There are so many options.
A formal affair 🍃
June To-do list:
1. Care more.
3. Daily gratitude.
4. Help someone in need.
5. Be sincerely interested in the answer when I ask someone, “How are you?”
6. Be more present.
7. Love more deeply.
8. Give someone the benefit of the doubt.
9. Take the stairs when possible *see above
10. Kick ass on the last two weeks of @whole30
11. A shit-ton of escort cards, envelopes, signage packages & seating charts. And a few residential and commercial chalkboards, an invitation suite for a styled shoot and a jean jacket. And a trip to San Luis Obispo and Palm Springs 😅 Holy moly, I guess I should get off my phone now.
Forever drooling over @fabulousfancypants cotton rag papers ✨I just can’t find paper quality that I like more. I use it for my business cards, invitations, and sometimes I just stare at it. Is that weird? Invitation design & calligraphy by yours truly. Semi-custom designs up in the shop SOON.
Just sparkin’ some joy around these parts with more place cards on purdy little pieces of Carrara marble ⚡️Happy Friday, y’all ⚡️
Loose sketch for some DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince inspired chalkboard art ✔️ Yes, that’s what I said. .
Also! About 15 years ago, I went to a spin class. I distinctly remember looking at the clock before the first minute had passed and wishing for it to be over. I left at the halfway mark and never looked back. Until the other day, when I tried it again, because well, Summer Madness, I suppose. And guess what!!!! It’s just like riding a bike. In hell! I’m a masochist and went back the next day and now I can’t walk or sit down very easily but no pain no gain, right 🥴 To my instructors past, present, and future: I’m acutely aware that you are talking to me specifically when you yell “Stay on beat”. Trust me, it’s not for lack of trying but if I am ever “on beat” it will be by way of sheer coincidence.
